What is Panhellenic?

Greetings and Salutations!

Welcome to the Panhellenic Community at Oakland University! The Panhellenic Community is comprised of 5 wonderful sorority chapters on our campus located in Rochester, Michigan. Here in the Panhellenic community, we are dedicated to helping you make your college experience more meaningful and memorable.

The 5 sororities on campus are:
Alpha Delta Pi
Alpha Sigma Tau
Gamma Phi Beta
Phi Sigma Sigma
Sigma Sigma Sigma

The Panhellenic community encourages its members to fulfill their potential by creating an environment of inter-fraternal sisterhood, living out the traditions of our founders and creed, upholding high standards and promoting individual responsibility, inspiring intellectual growth, and reflecting a positive image on the University's campus.

Panhellenic Creed

We, as undergraduate members of women’s fraternities, stand for good scholarship, for guarding of good health, for maintenance of fine standards, and for serving, to the best of our ability, our college community. Cooperation for furthering fraternity life, in harmony with its best possibilities, is the ideal that shall guide our fraternity activities. We, as fraternity women, stand for service through the development of character inspired by the close contact and deep friendship of individual fraternity and Panhellenic life. The opportunity for wide and wise human service, through mutual respect and helpfulness, is the tenet by which we strive to live.
