Advice from Sorority Women
Are you considering going through recruitment and nervous about taking that next step? DON'T BE! The following photographs are from current sorority women offering the best advice they can about recruitment!
Dear Potential New Member,
I'm so happy that you're considering joining Greek life at Oakland University. It has undoubtedly been one of the best decisions I've made since starting college, and I know that it has the same potential for you. I know you may have some reservations, but I want to encourage you to take a leap of faith. While you start your journey through recruitment, keep an open mind and make the most out of all your recruitment experiences. No two potential members have the same recruitment stories, so use the upcoming days to figure out what you want out of your experience in Greek life. Each chapter has something so unique and special to offer you, so don't be afraid to ask questions and tell them what you are passionate about. Make the most of all the minutes in and out of the recruitment rooms. Don't forget to show not only the chapter members who you really are, but also the other women in your recruitment group. Some of them may just become the best friend you didn't know you needed. Use your values and your heart to find your perfect home- we can't wait to welcome you into our community!
